WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT SPACE?
MULTIPLE REASONS FOR YOU TO SUPPORT THE SPACE SHOW!
Thank you for listening and being a friend to The Space Show. You can be certain of the fact that you are deeply appreciated by all of our Space Show team. The holidays are a time for kindness, generosity, and hope. For The Space Show and One Giant Leap Foundation (OGLF), the holidays are also a time for replenishment so that we can meet the New Year strong and sturdy. Our 2019 programming, guests, space education effort, information, and outreach depends on this replenishment. It’s all designed to further space exploration and development so we become an economic spacefaring nation and world. As I say in my Space Vision message which plays on Space Show programs, the path to a better world goes through space. We can all help make that a reality by helping to support The Space Show because we specialize in helping to make a better world through educating, inspiring, motivating and driving all aspects of space science, physics, astrophysics, engineering, human spaceflight, space medicine, and leadership towards providing the type of world all of us know is possible through our progress in space.
What part of space do you like? Do you favor science, physics and astrophysics? Maybe you prefer astrobiology or aerospace engineering? What about rocketry and launcher development? Consumer markets including space tourism, commercial imaging, infrastructure R&D, STEM, STEAM, student outreach, and inspiring others? Or perhaps you favor technology development which might include advances in medicine or even work in fields that are unknown or just starting to be explored today. If all of this either interests or matters to you or if you, remember that The Space Show offers a type of one stop shopping for supporting global space activities through our innovative programming which brings space right to you at your convenience through our many available formats of choice. Supporting The Space Show/OGLF helps you contribute to the democratization of space which makes our lives better, even if you live in a non-space country. By our promotion of space based technology and infrastructure through our programming and broad market appeal, space comes directly to you. You have the opportunity to jump right in and participate with our guests, blog, Open Line discussions, feedback and recommendations. Is has been and still is a fact that your financial support of The Space Show enables us to reach you and thousands of others on planet Earth who otherwise would not be getting this information, making the contacts, benefiting from the exposure to new ideas, and cutting edge technology.
Supporting The Space Show means supporting all of the goals and ambitions we all have concerning space. The Space Show offers programming, education, inspiration, networking, you name it on all of the above plus that which may be created in the future but is only being worked on today or maybe it is not yet even being thought about. Space activities can be that way. Some new, promising, and vital for us all might just pop up at any time and when least expected. Many of you might even find career opportunities and paths or networking contacts to help you develop, refine and reach your personal and professional goals. Don't forget how many of you directly benefit from promoting your ideas, books, and work to our global audience (for free I might add). We incur numerous expenditures to provide these services and opportunities to our global audience, listeners, friends, callers, and guests. For the coming year 2019, in return and for all that we do to support our common interests, The Space Show asks you for your support right now. Your gift to The Space Show supports all of our programming and our ability to cater to your interests, provide you with a sounding board on an international basis through our blog, and to introduce you to the cutting edge of space development. It also gives you marketing reach for your work, again free of charge, reaching thousands of people around the world but most importantly, reaching people in markets that can afford your work. I wish I could share all the testimonial emails I get from listeners and friends around the world who tell me they love The Space Show and what it does to connect them to the cutting edge of space information, science, engineering, development and exploration. Listeners sending me these much appreciated email offer a shout out to our unique format that makes it possible for them to participate with our guests and engage them on their leading edge work and thinking. All of this and more is what The Space Show gives to each of you. Think about it. Can you get these opportunities, exposures, and contacts elsewhere, especially for The Space Show very low price of free?
At this time of year when every organization and good cause is asking you for money, so is The Space Show. We know we have competition for funding from many outstanding and wonderful causes. However, space is also an outstanding and wonderful cause. For example, those of you that can remember back to the Cold War days, we had some pretty tense moments and scares. But not in space. In space we were making treaties to rescue our astronauts even by our enemies of the day. We were developing a mission to dock together a US and Soviet spaceship, then engage in a handshake that inspired and made the world a better place. Even today with the very real problems between the US and Russia, we work together in space, living in great harmony and cooperation with cosmonauts and astronauts onboard the ISS. Once again, space shows the way toward the light between nations, not the way to darkness. The Space Show knows this and wants to makes sure that this is a big part of our message. Please join with us in our message by supporting The Space Show.
