Welcome to our Open Lines discussion covering multiple topics with many callers over 91 minutes .  Our first caller was Jerry Everett, a long time friend who has not been in contact with TSS for awhile.  We talked with Jerry about his thoughts on the new administration and space, what may happen with the space council and the new VP, possible NASA Administrator choices, and seeing SpaceX launches from his backyard.  A listener sent in an email and asked him to compare a shuttle landing with a SpaceX return.  Don’t miss what Jerry said, especially about the double boom created by a SpaceX landing.  One of his thoughts about a possible NASA Administrator, Donna Edwards, was guest and interview on an earlier Space Show program as I met her at a Space Frontier Foundation Conference.  Before ending his call, Jerry shared his idea with us as to what the Tic Tac might be.  Listen carefully and let us know what you think by posting your comments on our blog.  We also mentioned the massive UFO document dump from a few days ago.  You can find the information at  www.theblackvault.com/documentarchive/ufos-the-central-intelligence-agency-cia-collection

Fremont John called to talk about multiple items.  First up was the recent wireless power demo using the X37B.  This has been discussed before and Dr. Jaffee has a paper about it.  Paul will be returning to The Space Show in the second quarter of the year.  John moved on to talk about Blue Origin and space tourism, then the fact that NASA said that the Europa Clipper was no longer fixed on only SLS.  John speculated that maybe the Falcon Heavy would handle the mission.  John also told us about the green propulsion rocket company, Blueshift Aerospace.  They claim to have a non-toxic fuel made from bio fuel. I plan on reaching out to them to see if they will come on The Space Show to discuss what they are doing.  John then mentioned the new space ARK ETF created by Cathy woods.  John s final discussion topic was the SLS static test that was aborted just a minute into what was to have been an 8 minute burn test.  Toward the end of the show, John sent in an email noting he forgot to mention the successful Virgin Orbit flight launching multiple satellites.

Ft. Worth John was the next caller with a desire to talk with us about quantum gravity.  He also posted docs on our blog in support of what he was talking about so check it all out.  Before he signed off, he commented on Jerry’s ideas regarding Tic Tac, also on the CIA UFO document dump.  Kim was our last caller to give us updates with Moonwards and the demo.  She talked about how helpful and good the space stack exchange site is (see www.space.stackexchange.com).   She said it was a good source of quality technical information.  As Kim was drawing to a close with all of her comments, Sandra from Salt Lake City sent her an email asking if blueberries could grow in space.  Kim grows blueberries in Mexico and we have talked a little about it on the show when she calls us.  I suspect Sandra remembered that wanted to find out about blueberries in space as they are a terrific nutritional food source.  Kim said this was actually a good questions and then she proceeded to tell us what she knew about it, what she thought would happen in trying to grow blueberries in space, the issues of bushes and more.  She recommended that blueberries be researched as a possible space agricultural product.

Please post your comments/questions on TSS blog for this show.  If you want to reach any of the callers, let me know and I will put you in touch with them.
