John Batchelor and I welcomed back Bill Harwood of CBS Space News for a one segment Hotel Mars discussion about the return of human spaceflight for NASA using the Crew Dragon and the Boeing CST 100. Bill talked about recent CST 100 test and subsequent software problems, the Crew Dragon abort test and why CST 100 did not do an abort test. We also talked about the significance of any flight delays with Crew Dragon probably launching with humans in the May June period and the CST 100 later this year. In addition, Bill addressed the impact of delays on ISS crew status and science missions, Soyuz flights and much more.
