Rob Wilson

Rob Wilson is the editor of Out of the Cradle, Chronicles of the New Space Age (www.outofthecradle.net), a blog that covers space-related issues with a particular interest in the New Space industry. Rob started Out of the Cradle in 2004, under the name "The New Space Age", by live blogging SpaceShipOne's first flight to 100 kilometers. Born in the thick of the moon landings, he can't remember a time when he wasn't interested in space. Rob is also a writer of science fiction, and is working perpetually on a first novel that explores some of the real-world entrepreneurial space themes covered at Out of the Cradle. Based in New Zealand with his wife Christina and two not-quite teenage sons, Rob is a Senior Software Engineer during the day, in the Healthcare division of Jade Software Corporation.
