Nathan has had a lifelong interest in the space program and the benefits it has provided. During his undergraduate studies, Nathan interned with NASA, at Stennis Space Center, in the public affairs and education departments. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Nathan worked as a high school history teacher in addition to working closely with the science department. He received an Earthwatch Institute and National Geographic Fellowship to travel to East Africa in the fall of 2007. He worked with several research projects that were studying and seeking to protect the endangered wildlife and habitat of that area. Nathan just started his first year of law school at Ole Miss and is interested in the legal issues surrounding the use of remote sensing data.
