Jason Aranha shares a diverse background with an equally interesting engineering career. After growing up in Brazil, Jason moved to Florida in the mid 90s and went on to earn a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His studies took him to England where he worked with WilliamsF1 on the aerodynamic design for the company’s racing cars and then to Houston, TX to join the development team for NASA’s Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle. His background in the space business includes Integration of the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle to the Ares I Crew Launch Vehicle and Mechanical Design of Orion’s Crew Impact Attenuation System; designed to protect the astronauts in the event of a hard landing. Along with his engineering hobby, Jason is a professional auto racing instructor with an extensive background driving various types of modern and classic racing cars.
