George Osorio

George Osorio has been actively involved with space exploration advocacy organizations for more than fifteen years. He has been associated with such organizations as the Planetary Society, the National Space Society, the Space Frontier Foundation and the Mars Society in one form or another. He is a past president of the Orange County chapter of the National Space Society and has actively participated in local space exploration educational activities, including making presentations to local organizations, for more than ten years. In addition, he has held memberships in professional technical societies such as the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr. Osorio has spent the past eighteen years working for major aerospace contractors, including ten years working on the design, development, test and verification of the International Space Station. He has also worked extensively with NASA personnel, including astronauts, and has spent several years working on the development of military systems.
