Gary Oleson

Gary Oleson is a Senior Engineer at SAIC, a leading provider of engineering solutions, information technology support, and technical services.  He writes frequently on space engineering, policy and strategy, and especially the commercial development of space.  Mr. Oleson has more  than  30  years  of  diverse  experience  in  space  systems engineering and  strategy, and previously worked for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the U.S.  Department of Energy.  He is a graduate of Princeton University with an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Mr.  Oleson is a recipient of the Space Station Freedom Award of Merit from NASA and the Space Pioneer Award from the National Space Society.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Space Frontier Foundation and the Alliance for Space Development.
