Dr. Peter Hague

I earned a PhD in astrophysics at the University of Leicester in 2015 studying dark matter and galaxy dynamics. I have worked at the Institute for Computational Cosmology at the University of Durham and the Cavendish Laboratory at Cambridge University, where I developed new methods for analyzing radio interferometry data. My published work includes papers on astronomy, galaxy evolution, Bayesian statistics and space radiation. I also have a professional background in software engineering.

I was inspired by the success of SpaceX at reducing launch costs to become an advocate of human space exploration and space settlement. I blog about this at planetocracy.org and am working on a book on the subject."
