Dr. Miller is a long-time aerospace advocate. He has a strong background in science, engineering, and business. His education encompasses a Ph.D. Physics, a Dipl.-Ing. Aerospace (a German degree equivalent to a M.S. Aerospace), and an MBA International Business. His aerospace experience began as an intern at Dornier Luftfahrt (now AvCraft) where he assembled Do-228 aircraft and Alpha Jet, and manufactured detail parts for the aircraft and for the Arianne rocket. Since then he has done business planning, proposal writing, and project management of Theater Missile Defense contracts for Messerschmitt-Boelkow-Blohm GmbH (now EADS); and performed market research, financial analysis, joint venture planning, and contract negotiation of commercial aircraft ventures for Taiwan Aerospace Corporation, where he helped to set up the Sino Swearingen Aircraft Company. Currently, Kent serves as the CEO of the Kent Miller Co. which provides business consulting services. Dr. Miller also teaches computer science at American University in Washington DC. He is a member of the AIAA and the National Space Society; and volunteers as a lobbiest for ProSpace. Kent speaks English (native), German, and Mandarin Chinese.
