Dr. Brendan Cunningham

Brendan Cunningham is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Eastern Connecticut State University.  He has published numerous peer reviewed papers and book chapters on the topics of space economics and media economics and he previously served as a co-editor of the Journal of Media Economics.  His co-authored research on the satellite industry was funded by the NASA Connecticut Space Grant Consortium and has been referenced by the Washington Post, Slate, the Boston Globe and The Outline among others.  Brendan was previously a Department Chair and Professor of Economics at the United States Naval Academy and a Visiting Scholar at the U. S. Federal Trade Commission.  He received his PhD in Economics from Columbia University.
