Dr. Adam Dodd teaches media studies and communication at the School of Communication and Arts, University of Queensland, Australia. His research interests are focused on the cultural history of science media and science communication, especially the historical representation of the nonhuman. He is the author of Beetle (Reaktion, 2016) and numerous scholarly articles on the cultural history of insect-human relations. His next journal article will examine UFO reports as information pollution in Cold War America.
