Amanda Ross

Amanda is currently a senior attending Christopher Newport University pursuing her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry. She served five years of Honorable military service. Amanda is especially interested in environmental factors affecting human populations, either directly or indirectly. She joined the DEVELOP Program in summer 2006 and has been working as the Science Projects Director for the national team of 150 students. Amanda directly manages seven teams, consisting of six people each, that currently utilize NASA satellite data and technology to conduct experiments that directly benefit local and worldwide communities.
