John Batchelor and I welcomed back Anatoly Zak (www.russianspaceweb.com) to discuss multiple Russian space projects including policy and future plans.  Among the topics discussed were Russian possible space budget cuts, future ISS plans, the Angara rocket system including moving production to Siberia, the EXOMARS mission on the way to Mars, & the Russian planned use of inflatables in space plus the Russian history of such structures going back decades.  Also take note of the recent Popular Mechanics article written by Anatoly, "U.S. and Russian Scientists Are Making Plans to Go Back to the Moon Together."  You can read this article at www.popularmechanics.com/space/moon-mars/a21884/us-russia-moon-plan.  Anatoly provided us with a quick summary of what he wrote in this article as John and I both had questions for him about this possible joint project. This was the last topic discussed on this Hotel Mars episode.

You can email Mr. Batchelor or Anatoly Zak through me at drspace@thespaceshow.com.  Anatoly can also be reached through his website.
