John Batchelor and I welcomed back Dr. Jeff Foust to discuss the latest news on the launch accident investigation regarding the Falcon 9 explosion, the planned SpaceX return to flight, impact on the SpaceX accident and delays on their commercial customers, and the planned revised launch plans for the Falcon Heavy. John also inquired about the SpaceX Mars and Red Dragon plans. Before the segment ended, we talked about ongoing commercial LEO support in congress, the impact on commercial space of the incoming President-elect Trump administration and the probable new priorities for NASA with the new administration.
