John Batchelor and I welcomed back Anatoly Zak of Russianwpaceweb.com for the 2018 opening Hotel Mars program. We talked about successful Russian missions in 2017, the Soyuz Capsule and the new one being developed plus Russian quality control issues with Russian hardware. Ukrainian hardware issues came up due to the political problems with Russian and the Ukraine. We also looked forward to 2018 and beyond with a look at the ExoMars project with ESA and concerns over the Russian Mars lander. Other topics included Sea Launch, the different Russian spaceports and the Russian company Roscosmos.
