Guest: David Dunlop, the Director of Project Development for The Moon Society (www.moonsociety.org), was the guest for this special two hour program. We started our discussion talking with David about why we should be returning to the Moon rather than going to Mars or a NEO. Listen to what he says and see if you agree. Also, would you go to the Moon to have a McDonalds' hamburger for lunch? He invites one of our listeners to do this and you will want to hear this somewhat playful discussion as well.

Broadcast 725 (Special Edition)

Tom Olson was the guest for this special Space Show program intended to update us on the ISDC conference that just ended in Dallas, TX. Please note that for this interview, there were audio issues with the telephone line with Tom that could not be cleared for this show. I asked Tom to tell us his favorite talk at ISDC was and while he said there were not major show stoppers as there were last year with the luncheon talk by Burt Rutan, he did say he was very impressed with Alex Tai and also talks in the business track.

Broadcast 492 (Special Edition)

Chip Proser returned to The Space Show for this program. Fresh from ISDC and from updating his important documentary, "Gaia Selene: Saving The Earth by Colonizing the Moon," we discussed how space can be used as a major path for solutions to our energy problems and the climate change being experienced around Earth. Chip discusses these topics in detail and connects the dots for people so they can see yet another vitally important reason to become space-faring, reach for the Moon and take humanity off Earth.

Now that OGLF has been approved as a 501C3 by the IRS, Livingston explains some of the new types of programming being planned for The Space Show. Also, starting May 1, 2006, contributions to The Space Show will be tax deductible.
