Mike Snyder

Michael is Chief Engineer and co-founder of Made In Space. At Made In Space (MIS), he has led the team that developed the first additive manufacturing capability in space. His professional resume includes developmental work on multiple International Space Station (ISS) payloads. Michael has designed or participated in the developmental testing and flight verification for eight payloads to the ISS. He has published more than two dozen technical papers and presented concepts for advanced space and Earth systems to international audiences.

As the first manufacturing company to operate in space, MIS is uniquely positioned to unlock the tremendous potential of the space economy by creating the tools, infrastructure, and equipment necessary for humankind to build among the stars. Michael earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees of science in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from The Ohio State University.
