Space Ship One: Initial Flight. The Space Show is proud to bring its listeners this nonstop broadcast of the historic Space Ship One flight from Mojave, CA on the morning of June 21, 2004. During this flight, Space Ship One became the first privately financed, built, designed, and flown space vehicle to reach outer space at 100KM/62 miles, and safely return to its launch site as a completely reusable spacecraft.
